Acceptance of Terms

Invertek.Store, owned and operated by Piedmont Technical Sales, welcomes your business under the following Terms and Conditions for the sale of products (“Products”). These Terms and Conditions apply exclusively to all sales transactions, superseding any other terms and conditions referred to in any purchase order, acknowledgment, confirmation, or any other documentation issued by either party, unless agreed upon in writing and signed by an authorized officer of Piedmont Technical Sales. We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time, with the most current version available at www.invertek.store.

1. ORDERS

Orders can be placed through www.invertek.store and must specify the Products, unit quantities, part numbers, descriptions, applicable prices, and requested delivery dates. All orders are subject to acceptance by Piedmont Technical Sales. We reserve the right to limit quantities and refuse service to any customer. The minimum order amount is $25.00.

2. PRICES

Orders are billed at the prices (in US dollars) in effect at the time of order placement. The website reflects the latest pricing information, which is subject to change without notice. Prices exclude federal, state, and local taxes applicable to the Products, which the Customer is responsible for paying unless a valid tax exemption certificate is provided.

3. TERMS OF PAYMENT

Payment is due at the time of order placement. We accept all major credit cards and PayPal.

4. SHIPPING, DELIVERY, AND TITLE

All shipments are FOB from Piedmont Technical Sales’ facility, and the Customer is responsible for all shipping charges. We will select the carrier and delivery route unless otherwise specified by the Customer. While we strive to meet requested delivery dates, these dates are estimates only, and we are not liable for any delays. Delivery within 30 days of the requested date is considered timely. Risk of loss transfers to the Customer upon delivery to the carrier, and title transfers upon full payment.

5. CANCELLATIONS AND RETURNS

Customers can cancel an order for standard Products without charge if the cancellation notice is received more than 3 days before the scheduled shipment date. Cancellations within 60 days may incur a fee, at our discretion. Orders for non-standard Products cannot be canceled. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, subject to prior authorization and the issuance of a return material authorization (RMA) number. Returned Products must be in original, re-sellable condition, and return freight charges must be prepaid by the Customer.

6. LIMITED WARRANTY

We warrant that Products will conform to manufacturer specifications and any value-added work will meet the Customer’s specifications. Remedies include a refund, repair, or replacement of the Products, provided they are returned within 20 days of delivery with acceptable proof of purchase. This warranty does not cover misuse, neglect, modification, or soldering of Products.

7. LIMITATION OF LIABILITIES

We are not liable for any indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of profit, business interruption, or personal injury. Our maximum liability is limited to the purchase price of the Products.

8. PUBLISHED INFORMATION

We strive for accuracy in our catalogs and website, but provide information “as-is” without warranty. Product specifications and availability are subject to change without notice.

9. LIMITATIONS OF USE

Products are not recommended or authorized for life support, surgical implantation, nuclear, or aircraft applications. Use in such applications is at the Customer’s risk, and we and the manufacturers are not liable for any resulting claims or damages.

10. STATEMENTS AND ADVICE

Any statements or advice provided are for accommodation only, without charge, and we are not responsible for their content or use.

11. FORCE MAJEURE

We are not liable for delays or failures due to causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, labor disputes, transportation delays, and acts of God.

12. EXPORT CONTROLS

Products are subject to U.S. export control laws. The Customer agrees to comply with all applicable laws and regulations and is responsible for obtaining any required licenses.

13. GENERAL

These Terms and Conditions may not be modified without our written agreement. Any provision found unenforceable will not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. These Terms are governed by North Carolina law, and disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of Charlotte, North Carolina courts.

We certify that our products comply with the Fair Labor Standards Act. Piedmont Technical Sales limits warranties to those provided by the manufacturers, selling all products “AS IS” and disclaiming any implied warranties. We are not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of our products. We may replace or refund defective products reported within a reasonable time after sale.
